Margaret Hamilton Turkevich

It was a pleasure chatting with you at B'con. Good luck with your tour.

As a reader, I love getting a chance to meet an author I enjoy. So know that the book tour is worth it from the reader point of view. Then again, I don't have to do the traveling part of it. :)

So great to see you at Bouchercon! And you are so wise--it's a privilege. And it's hilarious. And it's a dream come true.

ANd um, could you PLEEEESE come to Boston??

Charlaine Harris

I am laughing, Hank.

I had a great time at Bouchercon, and a large part of that was meeting new people. I need all the luck I can get!

Mark, that's why we hit to road. We hope that we are charming enough or witty enough that readers will want to at least sample what we write.

I am a retired librarian and avid reader. I saw you at Bouchercon several times, lunch, hallway, elevator etc. but did not meet you. I truly did not want to disturb you. I have nothing but respect for those authors, like you who tour. As a reader, I appreciate all the effort you put into your tours.

Annette, at a convention like Bouchercon, you are welcome to 'disturb' me. I'm there to meet readers. But I appreciate your regard for my privacy.
