Thanks for the recommendation! Sounds like a fun book--looking forward to it!

We just picked up a book for even younger readers for our son Dash--the Billie B mystery series. We're reading it to him, but it's fun. Not in the same league as Nancy Drew, by no means, but nice to see him engaged by it.

Sounds like great fun! Shall have to order for the grand girls, ages 10 and 11 respectively!

Today's YA books seem so much more interesting than the ones I read after I branched out from Nancy Drew, Dean. This looks delightful.

Laura DiSilverio

Thanks for pointing me toward this, Dean. Looks like fun.

The Red Blazer Girls series by Michael D. Beil are pretty good

Karlene Barger

This sounds delightful! I also loved the Dana Girls, Cherry Ames (nurse), and Vicki Barr (flight attendant) series from back in the day.

I've heard a lot of good things about this book. I really need to read it.

And if you haven't read any of Stuart Gibbs's books, make sure you do. They may not quite be in the vein of the old school young sleuths, but they are all fantastic and darn good mysteries for any age.

Thank you for sharing this one. Have you tried Nancy Springer's Enola Holmes series about Sherlock's younger, but just as brilliant, sister? They're terrific.
