Lyda L McPherson

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you! to all the voices who have joined together to say what so many who have no voice want to say.

Ann Mason

Catriona, how I love you. And I remember a text conversation we had on election night. You said Neil said it would be okay. I went to bed hopeful. But even Homer nods ... Thank you for every word you said today.

Sal Towse

Nice writeup, Catriona. It has been a long, hard road to this day.

Karen Maslowski

Thank you to all the "nasty" women who are standing solidly together. I pray you are right that we are, indeed, nearly there.

As the mother of three amazing women, I steadfastly hope for a more equitable future for them and their peers than we had. They deserve it.

Kate Thornton

Thank you so much, Catriona! And to all the nasty women out there, take heart.

Dana Cameron

Well said, Catriona. I remember the wild optimism of that voting day and the feeling of being poleaxed that night. And the next day, and the next...

There's so much work to be done, but here's to pushing off the bottom! Stay Nasty, Femmes!

catriona

Good luck in the draw, Lyda, Ann, Sal, and Karen.

I'm adding Jenny Carless, Mary Harris and Kathryn Tighe, from Facebook - to make Friday's draw easier (for me!)

Kelli Stanley

Thank you, Catriona!! We will be fighting and resisting all the way to November and as long as it is necessary to climb out of the pit.

At least we're in it together ... and together, we will rise.

Melanie

The book sounds wonderful--as does the very idea of a Nasty Woman Press. And thank you for expressing so well what many of us are thinking and feeling today. Best,
Melanie

Clea Simon

Thank you! Sharing and I'm going to do a giveaway too. God, I remember texting (or FB msg'ing or something) with you that night. Had two friends over, two bottles of bubbly in the fridge... you were reassuring us that DH was sure the numbers were still going to turn our way for the longest time. Sigh. Four years later, so much damage to undo.

Sharon Gorley

Thank you for this chance, Catriona. I'm going to buy the Kindle version. If I win a DTB (dead tree book) ;) I will donate it to our library.

Cynthia Kuhn

Congratulations to all of the contributors--I cannot WAIT to read this collection! And thank you so much for this thoughtful, moving post.

krisneri

Great write-up, Catroina. I can't wait to read it. Congrats to all the contributors.

Storyteller Mary

I loved the book, and the Harpist. I'm sure the story will mean different things to different people. When I read it, it reminded me that a hospice nurse used my storytelling CDs to comfort a restless patient so she could sleep. If that were to be the only good my stories ever did, it would be enough.

Judi Phillips

It has been a long 4 years, but hopefully the end is near.
This book sounds like a very special read.

Robin Berry

Thank-you to all who putted this work together. It is hard to be strong in this environment. This is a lovely beacon in these times.

Cyndi Pauwels

What a stellar effort! Can't wait to browse the pages. Congratulations to all the contributors.

Sally madden

Can’t wait!

catriona mcpherson

Okay. Running the numbers through Random dot org now. Good luck everyone.

Jenny Carless! Congratulations.

Cynthia Kuhn! Congratulations.

Sharon Gorley! Congratulations.

Could you all let me know whether you would like a hbk/pbk/ebook, please? And whether it's for you or someone else? Ta, Cx
